Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic protection isn’t limited to your vehicle’s paintwork.

Depending on the vehicle and the level of service selected, we can protect the paintwork, wheels, exterior plastics, headlights, glass, engine-bay components and other suitable exterior surfaces using dedicated coating systems.

The key word is dedicated — we select the appropriate coating according to the surface rather than applying one product everywhere.

Preparation Comes First

We do not apply professional ceramic coatings over paintwork that has not been properly prepared.

Before coating, the vehicle is cleaned, decontaminated, inspected and polished to the appropriate level.

A ceramic coating does not remove scratches or correct poor paintwork. It effectively preserves the surface underneath it, which is why preparation is one of the most important parts of the service.

Different Vehicles Need Different Coatings

We offer several levels of Japanese ceramic protection, allowing us to recommend a system according to the vehicle, its condition, the owner’s expectations and the required level of protection.

QJUTSU Ceramic Coatings

QJUTSU Body Coat
Our entry into long-term ceramic paint protection, combining strong hydrophobic behaviour with protection against UV exposure, oxidation and contamination.

QJUTSU Body Coat PRO
A step further in performance, with stronger durability, hydrophobicity and gloss enhancement. It can also be used on suitable painted and unpainted exterior plastics.

QJUTSU Body Coat Matte
Specifically developed for matte surfaces. It protects matte paintwork and wraps without introducing the gloss that would change their intended appearance.

QJUTSU Wheel Coat
Designed for the demanding environment experienced by wheels, with strong resistance to heat, brake dust and chemicals. It can also be used on suitable exterior components including lights, chrome and certain engine-bay parts.

Soft99 H7 & H9 – Moving Into Advanced Professional Coatings

For customers requiring another level of protection, we can move into Soft99’s professional coating systems.

Soft99 H7 Glass Coat is an extremely versatile silicon-based protective coating. Its ability to protect a wide variety of suitable surfaces makes it particularly useful when we are building a broader protection package around a vehicle.

Soft99 H9 Dual Layer Glass Coat takes the system further with two different hard glass layers. It is designed for customers looking for a more advanced professional paint protection system with strong hydrophobicity, deep gloss and long-term protection.

G’ZOX – Premium Professional Protection

Above these options we move into G’ZOX, Soft99’s premium professional detailing and coating brand.

G’ZOX Real Glass Coat Series

The Real Glass Coat family allows us to select the coating according to the behaviour and appearance the customer prefers.

Class H focuses on Hydrosheeting — encouraging water to drain from the surface and helping reduce staining and water spotting.

Class R focuses on powerful water repellency and strong beading.

Class M is the pinnacle of the Real Glass Coat range for gloss, combining very deep gloss with powerful water repellency and protection.

Rather than simply choosing the most expensive option, we can therefore select a coating according to what the owner actually wants from the vehicle.

G’ZOX Hi-MOHS Series

For customers looking towards the highest levels of the G’ZOX range, we move into the Hi-MOHS dual-layer coating systems.

Options such as Hi-MOHS The Glow, The Edge and flagship Vellis provide different combinations of extreme gloss, hydrophobic performance, surface hardness, durability and contamination resistance.

These are specialist professional systems intended for vehicles where the preparation, application and final result justify this level of protection.

Protecting More Than The Paint

A complete ceramic package can go considerably further than the bodywork.

Depending on the vehicle and selected package, we can also protect:

• Wheels
• Exterior plastics and trim
• Headlights and taillights
• Suitable engine-bay components
• Wheel arches and suitable surrounding surfaces
• Rubber and other suitable exterior materials
• Glass using dedicated Glaco glass protection

Each area is assessed individually and treated with an appropriate product.

Complete Wheel Protection

For customers looking for a more comprehensive treatment, the wheels can also be removed from the vehicle.

This allows us to thoroughly prepare and ceramic-protect areas that cannot normally be reached while the wheels are installed, including the inner barrels.

Wheel removal and complete coating are therefore treated as an additional level of service rather than something automatically included with every ceramic package.

Interior Ceramic Protection

On suitable vehicles, we can also extend ceramic protection to selected interior surfaces, using dedicated professional interior coating systems.

We generally reserve this type of treatment for newer or exceptionally well-preserved interiors, where protecting the original condition makes sense.

Not every surface needs to be coated, and not every older interior benefits from it. We assess the materials first and only recommend interior protection where there is a genuine benefit.

Ceramic Coating Is Not Armour

Ceramic coatings can provide excellent environmental protection, hydrophobicity and easier maintenance, but they do not make a vehicle scratch-proof.

They will not prevent stone chips, deep scratches or damage caused by improper washing.

Where physical impact protection is the objective, PPF is the appropriate solution.

Newer vs Older Vehicles

Ceramic coatings are particularly attractive for newer vehicles, where we can preserve paintwork while it is still in excellent condition and potentially minimise the amount of correction required beforehand.

An older vehicle can certainly still be coated when its paint condition allows it.

However, we do not believe every vehicle automatically needs ceramic coating.

For older, classic or more delicate vehicles, a high-quality traditional wax protection may be the more appropriate choice. We can offer premium wax systems that provide excellent gloss, depth and water repellency without committing the vehicle to the same preparation and coating process.

What Results Should You Expect?

There isn’t one ceramic coating package that is right for everyone.

Our job is to inspect the vehicle, understand how you use it and determine which surfaces are worth protecting and which coating system makes sense for each one.
